I have just recently become more interested in politics, and as I listen I notice many people who are against President Bush refer to him as "Mr. Bush."
I have no problem with their views - it is their right - but they are not showing enough respect to the president of the United States when they don't use his proper title. You should always refer to someone by their proper title if you know it, and all Americans should have known four years ago or at least by now that George Bush is the president. It doesn't matter what political side you are on or who the president currently is, you should still show respect to your current leader.
Even after they leave office, they still retain that title. Just keep that in mind the next time you write about the president or anyone else.
