Gospel Music Festival - 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at 1043 Ballard Road in Lancaster, hosted by Mark and Susan Ballard. Singers include Ron Jump, Christy Miller, True Gospel Singers, Andrea Barnes, Missy Hogue, Jaime Ballard, Marylou Drew, Barbara Smith and Bryantsville Methodist Church will perform between 1 and 6 p.m. Evangelist Bob Jones of Tennesse and the Kettle Family Singers will perform at 6 p.m. Craft booths, concessions, farm grown produce and assorted gifts will be available. Admission is $1. Bring a chair.

Middleburg Baptist Church - 7 p.m. Sunday at the church at the corner of Ky. 198 and Short Town Road. The event will feature State Sen. Bernie McGaha and The Crossroads Quartet.


Charity Church of God - 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, services to welcome its new pastor and his wife, Marvin and Isabelle Hatton. They most recently attended Paris Church of God. The Hustonville Charity Church of God is located on College Street.

First Baptist Church - 158th anniversary celebration, 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday at the church at Second and Walnut streets. Guests will be the Rev. Tony Jones, and choirs and congregation of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Keene.

Grace Presbyterian Church - 11 a.m. Aug. 15, new facility dedication service. A potluck lunch will follow.

South District Association W.M.U. Church missions leadership training conference - 7 p.m. Friday at Junction City Baptist Church and 9 a.m. Saturday at Southern Heights Baptist Church.


Lambert's Chapel United Methodist Church - 11 a.m. Sunday for a homecoming service. A lunch will be served after the service and the Calvary Messengers of Wilmore will sing in the afternoon. The church is located at 950 Rogers Road in Garrard County.

Clifton Baptist Church - 3 p.m. Sunday, 117th annual Homecoming, hosted by the Rev. Givens C. McCormack and the Rev. James McPhearson and the congregation of Stoney Point Predestinarian Baptist Church.
