PLEASANT HILL - More than 75 artisans from Kentucky, the South and Midwest will come together in a casual and unique historic setting during the ninth annual Pleasant Hill Craft Fair scheduled for Aug. 7-8.
The two-day event is growing each year and promises to be the largest event ever held at Shaker Village. The Pleasant Hill Craft Fair has been chosen as one of the Kentucky Tourism Council's Top 10 Kentucky Festivals and Events for Summer 2002 and a Top 20 August Event by the Southeast Tourism Society. This year's event is co-sponsored by Brown-Forman and Woodford Reserve.
The craftspeople, selected through a strict jury process, will be making and selling their traditional work on site.
The Pleasant Hill Craft Fair has also been chosen as one of the Top Five Festivals in Kentucky by participating artisans and offers a truly unique and historic setting in which to view and buy high-quality handmade items.
