LANCASTER - Three people were arrested Tuesday night after police say they participated in a drive-by shooting on Cardinal Circle.
Brian W. Ison, 24, of 107 Arvin Drive, and Richard A. Buford, 25, of 219 W. Buford St., were charged with 10 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after witnesses told police someone drove by in a black Jeep and fired toward them about 9:50 p.m.
Lancaster police officer Roy Gambrel followed up on the complaint of shots fired on Cardinal Circle and located the suspected vehicle. As he attempted to stop the Jeep, he "observed a gun being thrown out the passenger-side window," said Police Chief Ron Lamb. The vehicle proceeded west on Ky. 52 before it stopped half a mile outside the city limits.
Gambrel reported that Ison and Buford were seen firing a weapon toward the crowd at the Cardinal Circle residence and that Buford admitted to throwing the gun out of the window.
