Pretty terrifying stuff, huh? One would think so from the fuss that's been raised by some Garrard County residents about the Planning Commission's modest efforts to safeguard one of the state's faster-growing counties from the potentially negative impact of that growth.
The quote is from a list of goals and objectives presented at a public hearing earlier this week. It's hard to see how anyone in the county could disagree with it.
Certainly, the devil will be in the details - how such statements are implemented - but the goals are something that everybody in the county should support.
