Purse workshop set
A workshop on making a purse will be held 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Boyle County extension office. Participants will make a "designer-looking" purse by using an already constructed denim or canvas tote 13- by 13-inches and sew on embellishments of various fabrics, beads and trims. Some sewing knowledge and skill are required. Bring: Sewing machine and sewing supplies including scissors, seam ripper, pins, "jean" needles, and a zipper foot.
