Boyle County's girls soccer team opened its season with a victory, topping visiting Bryan Station 7-0 Monday at Danville.
The Rebels got two goals each from Sarah Hall and Emily Woolum, while Leah Missik had a goal and two assists.
"We played well tonight for an opening game," Boyle coach Brian Deem said. "I thought Marissa Hibbs and Lauren Smith did an outstanding job controlling the middle tonight and playing the ball to the open player. We also had a great number of opportunities with crosses from Kelsey Arnett, Erika Adams and Rachel May."
Boyle also had goals from Missik, Caitlyn Day and Hibbs, while Hall and Adams each had an assist.
The Rebels outshot the Defenders 36-2, including 18-0 in the first half.
Boyle hosts Russell County Thursday.
