Boyle County scored its second win in two nights, winning 25-23, 25-22 over Franklin County Tuesday at Frankfort.
"The whole team played well together and came out with some intensity and desire to win," Boyle coach Dana Stigall said.
Rachel Staub had eight kills for Boyle (2-2). Miranda Stamper added four kills, and Megan Lankfort had three assists.
Stigall said this was the Lady Rebels' first win over Franklin (4-6) in at least three years. The two teams will meet again Friday, this time in Lexington at the Bluegrass Invitational.
Wayne County 25-22-15, Casey County 7-25-19 - At Liberty, Casey regrouped after losing the first game but couldn't avoid falling to Wayne (7-1) for its first loss in four matches this season.
