Two face drug charges
STANFORD - A Crab Orchard man is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
Lincoln County Sheriff Shelby Lakes said Randy Stamper, 42, of Ky. 643 was arrested Aug. 20 when deputies searched his house and discovered about 24 tablets of the pain killer OxyContin. Stamper could face five to 10 years in prison if found guilty. Lakes said Thursday the investigation is continuing.
This week, deputies also arrested Robert Buchwald, 43, on charges of possession and cultivation of marijuana. A search at his residence uncovered about 20 plants growing outside the house, near the back door and the dog house. Bail at the Lincoln County Regional Jail was set at $1,000.
