FRANKFORT - Boyle County's boys soccer team rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat host Frankfort 5-4 Thursday.
Eric Curtis scored three goals for Boyle (1-1), but his scores weren't enough as Frankfort (0-2) held a 4-3 lead in the second half. A goal by Adam Stuart tied the game and John Frauenhoffer's goal won it.
"It was an extremely physical, rough match," Boyle coach Greg Conley said.
Madison Central 3, Danville 1 - At Danville, Madison Central (2-0) scored three times in seven minutes in the first half to pull away.
The Indians scored in the 14th, 16th and 21st minutes and led 3-0 at halftime.
Danville (1-1) converted only one of 11 second-half chances, getting its lone goal from Alex Meckes in the 43rd minute.
