Amanda Jayne Pennock and John Bradford Godbey were married July 24 at Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Doug Wesley.
Katie Pennock of Lexington, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Street of Marion, N.C., Sarah Wiley of Beavercreek, Ohio, Krista Turner and Jackie LeMonds, both of Danville, and Abigail Dundon of Grayson. Lindsey Wilson of Danville was flowergirl.
Jeff Godbey of Louisville, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Carr, Shane Burris, Jonathan McWilliams and Nathan Schepman, all of Danville, and Ronnie Emmons of Gravel Switch. R.T. Emmons of Gravel Switch was ringbearer.
After a reception at Centenary Methodist Church Christian Life Center, the couple made a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Jayne Pennock of Danville. She is a 1997 graduate of Boyle County High School, a 2001 graduate of Cumberland College and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She is a kindergarten teacher at Junction City Elementary School.
