LANCASTER - Harrodsburg's volleyball team rallied from a 19-10 deficit in the second game to defeat host Garrard County 25-19, 26-24 Monday.
Harrodsburg coach Hallie Hammond said the Pioneers (7-2) made the game tougher on themselves.
"Our passing needed a lot of help last night," Hammond said. "Garrard basically put the ball in our court and let us make mistakes."
Mandy Long and Brooke Sheperson led the Pioneers with five aces each.
Casey County 25-25, Adair County 21-19 - At Columbia, Casey topped host Adair Monday.
The Rebels got five aces and two kills from Kelli Patten, while McKenzee Weddle had 10 sets and four kills. Megan Byrd had two aces and five sets, Bethany Snow had two kills, Ellen Hogue had an ace and a kill and Meredith Coffey and Amanda Delk each had one kill.
