Two Danville men were arrested Thursday after they allegedly ransacked a Boyle County house and damaged a car, said Boyle County Deputy Sheriff Al Isaacs.
Jonathan Massey, 25, of 408 N. Fourth St., was charged with first-degree burglary, Isaacs said. Michael Floyd, 25, of 123 Robertson Drive, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief. Both were lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center, Isaacs said.
The two men reportedly went to Jason Naylor's residence on Dry Fork Road, forced their way in and broke furniture, aquariums and other damage while Naylor was locked in a back bedroom, Naylor said. A 1991 Pontiac at the residence was also beaten with a baseball bat, causing more than $1,000 in damages, Isaacs said.
An old grudge between Massey and Naylor was apparently behind the incident, the deputy said.
