Four people were injured Sunday in traffic accidents in Marion and Washington counties, state police said.
Daniel S. Osborne, 21, of Springfield, was flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington for treatment after his 2004 motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Bloomfield Road 3.5 miles north of Springfield, state police said.
The accident occurred as the 1995 pickup driven by Vickie Noel, 30, of Springfield, was attempting to turn into a driveway, and Osborne failed to see the turning signal and attempted to pass the pickup.
The motorcycle struck the pickup in the left door, according to Trooper Johnathan Boyd.
Neither Noel nor a passenger was injured.
In a Marion County crash, William M. Gorman, 50, and Patty Gorman, 55, both of New Carlisle, Ohio, were treated for injuries at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon and later released. William M. Gorman was driving his motorcycle south on Makers Mark Road three miles south of Loretto when he lost control of the motorcycle, struck a guard rail and a tree. Both riders were wearing helmets, according to Trooper Fred Cornett.
