In just the past few years, movies referred to as "family" movies have begun to show up with all sorts of language, potty humor, excessive violence and sexual innuendo. Even the privacy of your homes is being drenched in programming that promotes no values whatsoever.
Joe Camp, creator, writer and director of the new movie "Benji Off the Leash," tells us his dream has been to see exciting, dramatic, emotional and funny entertainment for families without seeing what Hollywood has been sending us.
Camp writes, "So many times I said Benji can't change the world, God. Even you are having trouble doing that. Hang on, God said, keep your eyes and ears open. And along came Mel Gibson, who put millions of his own money into his move, "The Passion of the Christ," produced and distributed completely outside the Hollywood system and one of the most successful movies of all time."
