PERRYVILLE - A motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon in a collision at the intersection of U.S. 150 and Jackson Lane.
Janet Jenkins, 44, of Lebanon Junction, suffered a broken arm and thumb and was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Boyle County Deputy Sheriff Marty Elliott said Jenkins was westbound on U.S. 150 on a 2004 Yamaha 650 motorcycle when a 1986 El Camino driven by William Logsdon, 49, of Lebanon, failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled out in front of her. The motorcycle struck the car in the side.
Jenkins was wearing a helmet and was thrown over the vehicle.
Deputy Jim Wilcher assisted at the accident scene.
