Arthur T. Coffman

Arthur Thomas Coffman, 67, of Indianapolis, formerly of Boyle County, died Sunday in Indianapolis.

Born March 27, 1937, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John W. and Irene Lewis Coffman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Cook Coffman; two sons, Arthur Coffman Jr. and Kevin Coffman, both of Indiana; two stepsons, Phillip and Scott Whitehead, both of Indiana; two daughters, Cindy Summers of Indiana and Sherry Coffman of Texas; a stepdaughter, Lisa Drew of Indiana; a brother, Johnny W. Coffman of Stanford; five sisters, Birdie Daugherty and Louise Belcher, both of Danville, Gladys Raley of Parksville, Joan Raley of Indiana and Birdie Mae Case of Junction City; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Sue Coffman.

Services were today at Little & Sons Funeral Home in Beach Grove, Ind. Burial was in New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Robert L. Denny

Robert Lee Denny, 81, of Cowan Street, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 16, 1922, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late George C. and Willie Belle Webster Denny. He was an employee of Centre College, a World War II veteran and a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Lucien Denny of Danville; three sisters, Stella D. Beavers of Danville, Josephine Dunn Green of Lancaster and Florine Hatcher of Louisville.

Services will be noon Thursday at St. James AME Church by the Rev. Isaiah Kennedy. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Denny Sr., David Denny Jr., Glenn Dunn, Jason Hatcher, George Chenault and Leonard Fitzgerald.

Honorary pallbearers are Cecil Dunn, Walter Anderson, Robert Wilkerson and Marion Williams.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home.

Grace Eskridge

LANCASTER - Grace Eskridge, 74, of Darien, Ill., formerly of Lancaster, died Sunday at her home.

Born Dec. 3, 1929, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Javie and Shophia Murphy Norman. She was a homemaker and the widow of Arvin Eskridge.

Survivors include a stepson, Billy M. Eskridge of West Virginia; two stepdaughters, Brenda Eskridge Palmer of North Carolina, and Betty G. Fisher of Clay, W.Va.; a brother, Berlin Norman of Cleveland, Tenn.; and three sisters, Gayle Justice of Barrington, Ill., Wanda Anderson of Darien, Ill., and Bertha Anderson of Cleveland, Tenn.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home by Darryl Hodge. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Izetta C. Galloway

MORELAND - Izetta Corene Galloway, 79, of Loris, S.C., formerly of Moreland, died Sunday at her home.

Born Aug. 4, 1925, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Ova Mae Allen Cochran. She was retired from Corning Glass Works in Danville, a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church and the widow of Jesse Galloway.

Survivors include two sons, J.C. Galloway and Jimmy Galloway, both of Loris; a brother, Gene Cochran of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Faye Crowe of Liberty and Betty Beals of Casey County; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Galloway Darwish.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by G.W. Smith. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday.

James McQueary

LIBERTY - James McQueary, 57, of Ky. 1547, died Sunday at Casey County Hospital.

Born June 16, 1947, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Estil and Ethel Goforth McQueary. He was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hall McQueary; a daughter, Julie McQueary of Liberty; two stepdaughters, Sheila Darrah of West Virginia and Kathy Johnson of Liberty; two stepsons, Shannon Crew and Greg Crew, both of Liberty; two half sisters, Mary Simpson of Russell Springs and Jewel McQueary of Somerset; and 12 stepgrandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Phillip Miller. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shannon and Greg Crew, Larry Applebee Jr., Larry Applebee Sr., and Tony and Joe Cooper.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Crew, Mike Cooper, Leonard Durham and James Carrier.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Jack Roney

HARRODSBURG - Jack Roney, 93, of Harrodsburg Road, died today at his home. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Florence Sanders

LADOGA, Ind. - Florene Sanders, 76, of Waveland, died Sunday at St. Claire Medical Center.

Born July 21, 1928, in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Danzell Cochran Shoopman. She was the widow of Stanley E. Sanders.
