I watched the Democratic convention and not one time did I hear John Kerry talk about how he would win the war on terror. All you heard was what a hero he was in Vietnam. Let me tell you something, my father fought and received two purple hearts in that war and there were people demonstrating at the gates in Hawaii when he came home calling him a baby killer and spitting on him.
Now, my point is, Mr. Kerry is putting so much emphasis on his war record, a war that has been barely recognized by our society and all of a sudden people (liberals) are praising his name. My question is, where have people been for the last three decades in supporting vietnam veterans?
When you vote in November, let your conscience be your guide.
