The starting time of Kentucky's game Saturday at Florida has been moved up to 11:30 a.m. due to the potential impact of Hurricane Jeanne, Florida and Southeastern Conference officials announced today.
The game will still be televised by ESPN2, but only in Kentucky, Florida and other selected areas.
"Given the information we currently have about Hurricane Jeanne, we have decided to move the time of our football game," Florida athletics director Jeremy Foley said on www.gatorzone.com, the school's athletic Web site. "Once we decided to move the game, we worked closely with the University of Kentucky, league officials and our television partners to allow our fans to see the game on television. The 11:30 a.m. time slot was the only available slot for our fans to see the game."
