Brenda O. Leigh

BRANDON, Fla. - Brenda Owens Leigh, 63, of Valrico, Fla., died Tuesday.

She was the daughter of Dorothy M. Owens of Valrico. She was a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Nativity Catholic Church.

Other survivors include her husband, Robert Leigh, formerly of Danville; two daughters, Susan M. Kale of Brandon and Amy A. McDonough of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be noon Saturday at Stowers Brandon Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials may go to Moffitt Cancer Center South at Tampa General Hospital.

Grover Prewitt

HARRODSBURG - Grover Prewitt, 90, of Danville, died today at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home.



Jayden Puckett

Graveside services for Jayden Puckett will be 10 a.m. Friday at Junction City Cemetery by the Rev. Barry Harmon.

He died Monday at Central Baptist Hospital.

He was the son of Casey Jo Manning of Danville and Larry Elmer Puckett III of Richmond.

Other survivors include his grandparents, Larry Puckett Jr. of Irvine and Leslie Irene and George W. Manning of Danville; and great-grandparents, Bill and Loretta Burchett of Junction City.

Ottis Hannah

WAYNESBURG - Services for Ottis Hannah, 83, of Kings Mountain, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dunham Cemetery in Casey County with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18, American Legion.

He died Tuesday in Stanford.

Born Feb. 20, 1921, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Roy and Virgie Taylor Hannah. He was a farmer, a member of Middleburg Masonic Lodge and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Kings Mountain Christian Church and the widower of Marie Bastin Hannah.

Survivors include a daughter, Rita Cash of Burnside; a brother, Clyde D. Hannah of Kings Mountain; a sister, Mary Helen Singleton of Kings Mountain; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Alvin R. Hannah.

Pallbearers will be Roger Board, Curtis and Mark Hannah, Eddie and W.C. Singleton, and Jim McQueen.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Singleton, Ernest Williams, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.
