Casey County rebounded from a first-game loss to defeat Lincoln County in three games Thursday at Stanford.
The Rebels topped Lincoln 23-25, 25-21, 25-22.
Casey coach Allen Patterson said Kelli Patten had a "super night" with 13 kills, nine aces, an assist and a block. McKenzee Weddle had 10 assists, two kills, an ace and a block, and Ellen Hogue had two kills, an ace, an assist and a block. Megan Byrd had five assists and Bethany Snow had five kills.
Pulaski Southwestern 19-25-25, Boyle County 25-21-22 - At Somerset, errors came back to haunt the Rebels.
Boyle had 30 hitting errors and six service errors, and coach Dana Stigall said that's just too many.
"When you give away 36 points on errors, it makes it difficult to win a match," Stigall said.
Rachel Staub led the Rebs with 15 kills, while Bruna Lozano and Meagan Lankford each had 12 assists.
