Fort Logan motorcycle run to benefit United Way

STANFORD - Fort Logan Hospital, an affiliate of Ephraim McDowell Health, is sponsoring a motorcycle run to benefit the Heart of Kentucky United Way. The event is planned for Oct. 9.

Riders will leave Fort Logan Hospital's Specialty Clinic, located across from the hospital, at 11 a.m. The ride will cover approximately 100 miles with several stops along the way. Riders will return to the clinic for a meal of chili, sandwiches and dessert.

Entry fees to participate in the motorcycle run are $10 per bike and rider and $5 per co-rider. All riders will be registered for door prizes that will be given away at the end of the ride.


To register for the motorcycle run, call Ruth Smith or Debbie Harris at (859) 239-4772 or (606)365-2187. If the weather is bad on the morning of the event, riders may call the hospital at (606) 365-2187 for cancellation information. A rain date is set for Oct. 16.
