STANFORD - A Lincoln County inmate is still at large and being sought by law enforcement after officials say he walked away from his community service work detail Friday afternoon.
Christopher S. Spoonamore, 24, of Berea had been working with the state road department on U.S. 27 in Stanford. He was last seen walking toward U.S. 150 at approximately 1 p.m., wearing dark gray pants and a light gray community service uniform shirt. He reportedly has family living in Lancaster.
Police describe him as a white male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 175 pounds with short brown hair, green eyes and a stocky build. Spoonamore was a minimum-security prisoner and is not believed to be armed or dangerous. He was serving a five-year sentence on drug charges.
