Danville's offense never stopped rolling against Taylor County Saturday, as Matthew Schulz, Jordan Gay and Ross Hempel each scored twice in the Admirals' 9-0 win.
Danville outshot Taylor 24-3 in the game and got three assists from Jameson Gay.
"This was an oustanding game for us in that we definitely controlled the pace and were having our way," Danville coach Gary Reynolds said. "Our passing was very good."
Schulz scored Danville's first goal and added a second in the second half. Hempel's goals came back-to-back in a 17-second span of the second half, both on assists from Chris Booth. Booth had three assists in the game, as did Jameson Gay.
Gay scored once in each half, and Chris Beto had two assists. Michael Ward, Nick Winkler and Kelsey Snapp also scored for Danville, and Jeff Ricker added an assist.
