Edna M. Browning

PERRYVILLE - Edna Matherly Browning, 79, of Glasgow, formerly of Mitchellsburg, died Monday in Glasgow. Arrangements are incomplete at Wilder Funeral Home.

Harold Wiles

LIBERTY - Harold Wiles, 72, of Dunnville, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born July 9, 1932, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Martha Hines Wiles. He was a farmer and a former employee of Formica Co. in Cincinnati. He was a member of the Ethics Committee of Casey County Fiscal Court.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Jean Wiles; two daughters, Peggy L. Schoellman of Fayetteville, Ohio, and Patricia J. Lucas of Liberty; three sons, Michael H. Wiles of Clarksville, Ohio, and Jeffrey C. Wiles and Timothy S. Wiles, both of Dunnville; four sisters, Gladys Flynn of West Chester, Ohio, Janice Cheek and Shirley J. Cooper, both of Somerset, and Carolyn Mounce of Nancy; three brothers, J.P. Wiles of Somerset, Vernon Wiles of Nancy and David Wiles of Science Hill; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna K. Wiles.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bartle Funeral Home by Curtis Lucas. Burial will be in Thomastown Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Schoellman and Michael, Josh, Justin, Aaron and Tyler Wiles. Honorary pallbearers are Melissa Schoellman, Maggie Crawford, Ashley York and Bethany Wiles.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday.


Rosetta C. Graves

Services for Rosetta Christine Graves, 85, of Danville, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets, by the Rev. Richard Hill. Burial will be in Hilldale Cemetery.

She died Saturday at Casey County Hospital.

Born Nov. 7, 1919, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Taylor. She was a former employee of Transylvania University and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Florence Brown of Danville; a stepdaughter, Jo Cecil Durham of Danville; five sons, Leon, Thomas and Cecil Smith and Donnie and Jerry Graves, all of Danville; a brother, Warnell Taylor of Lancaster; a sister, Hazel Haskins of Lexington; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lonzo McGuire, Otis Ford, Raymond Houston Jr., Charles and Leroy Weathers, and Paul Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons.

Visitation will be noon at the church.

Smith-Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William A. Rash

Services for William A. "Bill" Rash, 58, of Perkins Avenue, were today at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Bill Wilson. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.

He died Saturday in Bardstown.

Pallbearers were Chris Arnold, Larry Cheatham, Dennis Owens, John and William Carlton, and Buck Cummins. Honorary pallbearers are Adam Cummins, Gerald Gordon and Josh Fayne.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice.

Carol C. Thompson

PERRYVILLE - Services for Carol Ann Collins Thompson, 61, of Perryville, were today at Wilder Funeral Home by Tom Lane.

She died Saturday at her home.

Born Nov. 5, 1942, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Lydia Rosario Collins. She was a self-employed childcare-giver and a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Thompson; three daughters, Bonnie Elliott of Perryville, Kellie Bernhardt of California, and Lisa Parkhurst of Connecticut; a sister, Emali Winburn of Florida; three brothers, Pete, Charlie and Michael Collins, all of Florida; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice.

Evelyn M. Bugg

HARRODSBURG - Graveside services for Evelyn Moss Bugg, 75, of Danville, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spring Hill Cemetery.

She died Sunday at Richmond Health and Rehabilitation.

Born Nov. 7, 1928, in Jackson County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin C. and Helen McMurry Moss. She was a former employee of James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital and Hallmack, a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church and a former Women's Club member.

Survivors include four sons, Jason A. Bugg and Edward L. Bugg, both of Lexington, David T. Bugg of Hopkinsville, and Everett L. Bugg of Richmond; a daughter, Brenda Elkins of New Albany, Ind.; three sisters, June Lovelace of Orlando, Fla., Linda Rabe of Dallas, Texas, and Marjorie Davenport of Flemingsburg; and seven grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Marie B. Johnson

HARRODSBURG - Services for Marie Buck Johnson, 86, of Kennedy Bridge Road, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Harvey Britton and Bob Williams. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

She died Sunday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 25, 1918, in Wilmore, she was the daughter of the late John and Hannah Alexander Buck. She was a farmer and a member of Burgin Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, M.F. Johnson Jr.; and a daughter, Margaret J. Edwards of Harrodsburg.
