A Danville woman died Tuesday evening from injuries she suffered in a three-car car accident on Burgin Road near Ky. 2168.
Patsy C. Martin, 74, was pronounced dead at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center about 7 p.m., said Boyle County Coroner Dr. James Ramey. "They brought her in to the hospital and she died about 30 minutes later," Ramey said today.
Martin, whose address was unavailable this morning, was traveling south on Burgin Road shortly after 6 p.m. when a pickup truck driven by David C. Dearinger of Harrodsburg pulled out from Ky. 2168 and into the path of her 1987 Chevy Nova, Danville police said. Martin's car struck Dearinger's truck and spun it into another pickup driven by Jeffrey L. Aubrey of Burgin, who was stopped in the turn lane of Ky. 2168, police said.
Neither Dearinger nor Aubrey was injured. All three drivers were wearing seat belts, police said.
