Medical students at National College of Business and Technology are supporting American troops in their own way. Sharon Hall of Harrodsburg is a pharmacy technician student at the college.
She and her two children, Paige, 7, and Bryce, 4, will be seeing off her husband, Jonathan, and the rest of the Harrodsburg National Guard 206th Engineer Battalion this week.
The Medical Assisting Club and Pharmacy Technician Clubs at the college, as a gesture of their support for Sharon and her family have made personalized T-shirts for the two children, which read, "God Bless My Daddy And Bring Him Home Safe." The children's eyes lit up when they saw the picture of their dad on their shirts.
For Jonathan, the students made a shirt with a picture of the children that reads, "Daddy is my #1 Hero."
Jonathan Hall and his battalion are scheduled to leave this week and are not scheduled for return for at least 19 months.
