HARRODSBURG - Libera "Libby" Pensa, 84, of Talmage-Mayo Road, died Friday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility.
Born Jan. 5, 1920, in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Ester Machetto Mino. She was a retired employee of the Bulova Watch Company in N.Y., and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosalie Lopresto of Harrodsburg; a son, Marlo Pensa of Suffern, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 12 p.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church by Joseph Muench. Burial will be in the Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, East Hampton, N.Y.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Robert Shewmaker, Jr.
HARRODSBURG - Robert Lee "Shew" Shewmaker, Jr., 48, of McAfee Lane, Salvisa, died Friday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington.
Born Nov. 12, 1955, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Robert Lee Shewmaker, Sr. and Dora Manual Shewmaker of Salvisa. He was an Army veteran, employed by Wal-Mart in Frankfort and also worked for the state Department of Transportation and Midway College. He was a member of Salvisa Baptist Church.
Other survivors include a son, Zachery Shewmaker of Mercer County; a brother, Ronald "Bo" Shewmaker of Mercer County; two grandchildren; and a companion, Jackie Noonan of Frankfort.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ransdall Funeral Chapter by the Rev. Jason Clark. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dearing, B.J. Shewmaker, Curtis Manuel, Herbie Ashton, George Gibson and Ray Reichenbach.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Memorials may go to the Salvisa Baptist Church Building Fund.
Services for Janetta Hogue Russell, 81, of Cavalcade Drive, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by Steve Wolfgang and Scott Vifquain. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
She died Friday at Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born March 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Robinson Hogue. She was a homemaker and a member of Lexington Avenue Church of Christ. She was the wife of Raymond L. Russell.
Other survivors include a son, Joe Gerlach of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Sandy Watts of Danville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Dale Gerlach, A.J. Johnson, Bob Pentecost, Tom Cummins, Wayne Thurman, Terry Graham and Bob Newby.
Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Float, Leroy Johnson, Bill Royalty, Cecil Ellis, Earl Adams and Hubert Royalty.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.
Sue C. Turnbull
Graveside services for Sue Carol "Suzy" Turnbull, 58, of Louisville, formerly of Danville, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. Tommy Valentine.
She died Wednesday at Norton Southwest Hospital.
Born Feb. 8, 1946, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Grace Turnbull. She was a travel agent for AAA, a retired music teacher and counselor for Jefferson County Public Schools, and a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Fred Turnbull of Versailles; and a sister, Jan Simmons of Connecticutt.
Visitation will be at Stith Funeral Home following the service.

LANCASTER - Services for Louise Vanderpool Tudor, 87, of Colony Road, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Albert Gisler. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
She died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born April 1, 1917, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late George William and Hattie Duncan Vanderpool. She was a retired employee of Cowden Manufacturing and Kentucky School for the Deaf, and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sally Watkins of Lancaster; two sons, Sky Tudor of Anchorage, Ala., and John Tudor of Broomall, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Tony, Rusty, Sam and Avery Watkins, Sky Tudor Jr., Scott, Stephen and Michael Tudor.
Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today.
