BRADFORDSVILLE - A Liberty woman was killed and two other people were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Ky. 49 a mile south of here, state police said.
Ruby F. Shirley, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County coroner.
Dewayne T. Henderson, 37, and his passenger, Kim Smothers, 40, both of Bradfordsville, were treated at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. Henderson was released, and Smothers was transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital, according to Trooper David Gibbs' report.
Shirley was driving a 1990 Chevrolet north on Ky. 49, when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve, and struck the Henderson 1991 GMC truck head-on, according to Bibbs' report.
Neither of the three were wearing seat belts.
