Church youth collect food

The youth of The Presbyterian Church of Danville, West Main Street, will collect canned food Oct. 30 during Trick or Treat hours. As part of their annual Trick or Can service project, the youth will go door-to-door and ask local citizens to give them cans of food instead of candy. All the collected food will be donated to a local food pantry. This year's food drive is especially important because many food pantries are in short supply. Canned food also may be delivered to The Presbyterian Church, Main Street.
