Stacy Miller

HARRODSBURG - Services for Stacy Miller, 60, of Harrodsburg, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Revs. Bill Dunn and Robert Miller. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 31, 1944, in Bell County, he was the son of the late Raymond F. and Myrtle Merida Miller. He was a truck driver for UPS and a member of UPS Circle of Honor. He was a member of Shakertown Baptist Church and was active with Mercer County Relay for Life.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Hall; a son, Robert S. Miller of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Kimberly S. Hockensmith of Harrodsburg; three brothers, Walter Dunn of Monroe, Ohio, Wayne Miller of Junction City and Henry Miller of Lawrenceburg; three sisters, Zora "Bea" Abrams and Betty J. Carpenter, both of Harrodsburg, and Mattie McGeorge of Pikeville; and four grandchildren.


Pallbearers will be Robert Miller, Arthur Cox, Shawn Hockensmith, Bobby Hall, Robbie Abrams and David Abrams.

Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. Saturday and after 7 a.m. Sunday.

Clara M. Puckett

HARRODSBURG - Clara Mae Watts Puckett, 65, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday at Frankfort Regional Medical Hospital.

Born Oct. 5, 1939, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Marcus P. and Verna Preston Watts. She was a certified medical technician and worked with private duty patients. She was a member the women's auxiliary and a member of Shiloh Christian Church in Lawrenceburg where she was a member of the Shiloh Singers.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Adams of Frankfort and Anita Beasley of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Henry Watts, of Harrodsburg; a sister, Wilma Robinson, Mercer County; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Stan Houser and Bert Patterson. Burial will be in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Serafini, Jessie Stone, Mike Shryock, Gilbert Young, Tom Richey and James Hammonds.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and prior to the service Saturday.
