Dear Editor:
For a stewardship campaign at our church a few years ago, a large sign in our Christian Life Center read: "Life is all about choices!" How true is this in our personal and professional lives, as well as in politics. It seems to us that when we vote in the coming election, we have wonderful choices locally regarding city commissioners. We can choose to retain the fine present commissioners, Crowley and Gay; return experienced former ones, Caudill and Stevens; or select a strong new candidate, Tom McKune. All of these gentlemen, in our opinion, are excellent choices. They will be proactive, dedicated, and most of all, independent thinkers, thus eliminating the bloc voting of the past which has been so damaging to the "heart" of our community.
At the state level, for the 54th District representative, we can choose David Sparrow. He is a man of integrity, leadership, and statewide experience. David is an individual who will represent all of us well, especially our farmers and educators.
