Election Day draws near, bringing with it the most preposterous conclusions on why we should vote for Kerry. Satan has been working overtime to create a willful misconception in Christians that they should believe politics and religion are truly separate entities. There is nothing further from the truth. Taxation without representation and religious freedom were foremost in the American Revolution. Washington and Lincoln associated God with country and spoke openly about it. God-fearing people formulated our Constitution to keep us "one nation under God."
If we are under God, how do we account for the increasing rate of immorality and blatant sin that encompasses our entire country? It is the result of Satan's covert guile to separate us from our creator. He uses Hollywood, TV, radio, news media, music and even liberal leaders in churches of every religion. If we expect God to bless this country, then we better start blessing God by trying to follow his word. George Bush has not relinquished expressing his faith in God, even though his opponents have criticized his positions. Only now is John Kerry trying to sound religious by going to churches and speaking for political gain. He stated now that he has not been a regular church attendee and that he disagrees with their position on abortion and gay rights.
