As a great believer in local politics, it has become very apparent that Mike Harmon has done nothing to benefit our community. He should step down from being our representative and realize that even though he might be a good person, he certainly is not good at his elected job. This step of course would be hard for him to do, but it would be the greatest deed he could accomplish in politics.
I've tried to find a single point that would qualify Harmon for any respectful argument that he might be a good representative, but only found statement that he is for faith, family, and freedom. All three sound good if there were actually legislative actions to back those words. It's one thing to say your for something and another to actually put actions to your words. In fact, the only real information that I've ever found about his actions is that he voted against $40,000 to bring his hometown's sewer and drainage system up to 21st century standards. Great family values, Mike.
