Here we are at another election for the Junction City Council. This could be one of the most important elections this city has ever faced. We, the current council, have made some decisions that I am proud of. One would be the sale of our water and sewer department to Danville. This was an issue I promised a resolution to when I ran for office in the last election. It was already in the making when I was voted in but I am glad that I was a council member and was able to vote for this agreement between Danville and Junction City.
Taxes, what a word if you are an employee in the city or run a business in the city. I can stand by my record on a vote just two months ago where we dropped property taxes one percent. That isn't a big drop but is sure better than raising them one percent.
