I was watching the great "60 Minutes" program about the electronic machines that are being used in different states for the election. Kentucky was among those states.
There were more than enough mistakes with the machine to show me that my vote may or may not be counted, that my vote could go for the person that I am not voting for, and that if there needed to be a recount that the machine does not go back and recount, it just spits out the same number as before without a count. At the end of the show one state had a good idea, if you didn't trust the machine, (and I don't) you could vote the old way, by paper.
So as a voter, I would like to vote, and I would like to vote where I know my vote would be counted for whomever I voted for. So I say give the people a choice, machine or paper.
