STANFORD - A Stanford man accused of a hate crime will appear in Lincoln County Circuit Court Monday to answer to charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
Carl L. Wilson Jr., 22, of 851 Lancaster Road, Apt. 29, was arrested Nov. 1 after Kentucky State Police say he made racial slurs toward a Hispanic man then followed him home.
At the residence, Wilson reportedly threw a decorative rock from the front porch through the victim's living room window and nearly struck a 2 year-old boy on the head. The child was cut by flying glass, police said
Wilson was released from Lincoln County Regional Jail on a $20,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday.
