SALVISA - Donald Tyler, 74, of Salvisa, died at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Sunday morning from injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Anderson County.
Deputy Fayette County Coroner Miles White said today that he was told by a Kentucky State Police officer that Tyler was coming from a side road from which he was going to make a right turn onto U.S. 127.
Tyler's vehicle came to a rolling stop, White reported, and then came onto the highway into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The second vehicle hit Tyler's vehicle broadside.
The accident occurred just before 9 a.m. Tyler was flown to the medical center where he was declared dead at 11:35 a.m. by a doctor at the hospital, White said.
