Casey increases budget funds

LIBERTY - Casey Fiscal Court approved an ordinance Monday for unbudgeted funds and agreed to advertise for bids on two bridges, Judy Allen, judge-executive pro-tem, said.

Money placed in various budgets includes: general fund, $29,015; road, $20,081; jail, $46,933; Local Government Economic Assistance, $150,000; E911 emergency communications system, $11,795; and special fund in left over money from bond sales, $512,794.

The court agreed to advertise for bids on bridges on Lee Graham and Upper Brush Creek roads after specifications are available.

The court also heard from a visitor, El Pennington, who talked about Gov. Fletcher and the legislators who have not passed a state budget.

Not the same person

The Ronnie Brown listed in the civil judgments in Sunday's Boyle Public Record is not the Ronnie Brown of R. Brown Properties, 7732 Perryville Road, Danville.
