The Boyle County swim team claimed a victory over Danville, Campbellsville and Taylor County in its first meet of the season Wednesday at Kentucky School for the Deaf.
Boyle outscored Danville 261-235 in the combined standings, while Campbellsville and Taylor were over 200 points behind.
Boyle swimmers won seven girls events and five boys events.
Winners for the girls included Mackenzie Monterio, who was first in both the 100-yard butterfly and the 100 backstroke. Kyla Schnieders (200 freestyle) and Sarah Lemay (100 freestyle) were also winners, and Boyle swept all three relays.
On the boys side, Casey Clark won the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle, a Boyle team won the 400 freestyle relay and Daniel Bastin (200 individual medley) and Chris Snider (100 backstroke) also won.
