LIBERTY - A Bradfordsville teen was held to the Casey County grand jury Thursday on charges stemming from a fatal traffic crash.
Ramiro Rojas Perez, 18, was charged after a passenger in his vehicle, 28-year-old Ciro Alvarez, also of Bradfordsville, died. The crash occurred Oct. 31 on Ky. 1552 eight miles north of here, state police said.
Alvarez, who was ejected from the vehicle and landed in a creek with the car on top of him, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Perez was treated for injuries at Casey County Hospital and arrested by state Trooper David Gibbs on one count each of murder and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
