Waynesburg man critical after crash
A Waynesburg man remained in critical condition Saturday after a Thanksgiving night collision closed U.S. 27 in Lincoln County for approximately three hours .
James Robinson, 31, was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center following the accident, which occurred about 11:15 p.m. Thursday.
According to Kentucky State Police, Robinson was traveling south on U.S. 27 when his Nissan pickup crossed the center line about four miles north of Waynesburg and struck a Chevy truck driven by Michael Carpenter, 35, of Lancaster. Both vehicles were severely damaged and Robinson suffered severe internal injuries, police said.
