Toys to be collected

Check Advance will collect toys and donations for the local Toys for Tots campaign from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the office at 1714 Perryville Road. Refreshments will be served. The office will accept items until Dec. 12.

Middle school plans "Snack and Shop"

A Snack and Shop is scheduled for 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at Boyle County Middle School to benefit the library media center. Gifts and books for all ages will be available along with discounts, prizes and free gift wrapping.

Bed and breakfast plans open house

HARRODSBURG - Lakeview Point Bed and Breakfast at 166 Lakeview Point in Mercer County will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Dot and Brad Dunn are owners/innkeepers of the new B&B.


LCHS Drama Club plans comedy

STANFORD - Lincoln County High School Drama Club will present the comedy, "You Can't Take it With You," at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the school auditorium. Tickets are $4 each and may be purchased through Raevanna Hall at the high school or from any cast member.

America's Fabulous Faces to raise funds

A Christmas pageant presented by America's Fabulous Faces will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at Danville National Guard Armory to raise money and toys for the children's toy program for Boyle County. Registration is 4:30-5:45 p.m. Call (859) 936-9900 for more information.

A Christmas Gala and Bazaar will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at Lincoln County Middle School, Stanford. The place was incorrect in Monday's paper.

The annual Danville National Guard Christmas dinner will be Sunday. For more information, call (859) 236-1662. The day was wrong in Tuesday's paper due to incorrect information given to the newspaper.
