Jeanne M. Nichols

Jeanne McGill Nichols, 79, of Cookeville, Tenn., died Tuesday.

Born Nov. 14, 1925, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Paul Early and Laura Love Bacus McGill. She attended Centre College, was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was a Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Williams of Cookeville; two sisters, June Wyneken of Venice, Fla., and James Pruett of Fripp Island, S.C.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Nichols Jr.

Services will be 7 p.m. (CST) today at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Cookeville by Joe Weatherly. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Bellevue Cemetery in Danville by the Rev. Harris Schultz.

PERRYVILLE - George Pevley Jr., 73, of Gravel Switch, died today at his home. Arrangements are incomplete at Wilder Funeral Home.

Delinda Johnson

LIBERTY - Delinda Johnson, 44, of Ky. 1547, died Monday at her home.

Born April 8, 1960, in New Castle, Ind., she was the daughter of Carol Clevenger Pierce of Liberty and the late Charles Pierce. She was a teacher at Casey Middle School and a member of Pine Grove Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Johnson; a daughter, Ashley Wolford of Liberty; a son, Lakota Johnson of Liberty; a sister, Judy Hugel of Liberty; and three brothers, Steve and David Pierce, both of Liberty, and Jerry Pierce of Dunnville.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Church by Jeff Edwards. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael, Shawn and Chris Pierce, Marcus Shreve and Daniel Payton.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday.

Minnie Leach

STANFORD - Minnie Leach, 92, of Stanford, formerly of Kings Mountain, died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Marion Million

HARRODSBURG - Marion Million, 55, of High Street, died Tuesday at her home.

Born Oct. 8, 1949, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late William M. Divine and Louise "Fuell" Litteral.

She was a former employee of Cricketeer Manufacturing Co. and Southern Outfitters of Harrodsburg, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Million; two daughters, Melissa Parker and Kimberly Gorham, both of Harrodsburg; three brothers, Harold Devine of Springfield, W.T. Devine of Danville, and Billy Gene Divine of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Margaret Bugg and Linda Lake, both of Harrodsburg; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Barry L. Dearing.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Matthew Atha. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Lake, Clinton Bugg, Wayne Smith, Brad Devine, Chris Donald and Mark Donald.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville 40423, and to Mercer County Relay for Life Program.

Nancy Ray

LANCASTER - Nancy Ray, 58, of Poor Ridge Pike, died Tuesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

Georgia F. Tate

Services for Georgia F. Tate, 82, of Hughes Lane, were today at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. John Kesel. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.

She died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Pallbearers were Joe Noel, Thomas Sanders Jr., Woody, Gary and James Hunt Jr., Robert Bates, Albert Prewett Jr. and Roger Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers are nephews.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice.

Lois Baker

PERRYVILLE - Services for Lois Baker, 94, of Charleston Health Care Center, formerly of Perryville, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. Jimmy Owens. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

She died Monday.

Born March 2, 1910, in Taylor County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Alice Gribbons Lamme.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse, worked at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital and retired from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center after 35 years of service.

She was a member of Perryville Baptist Church and the widow of Curtis Baker.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen "Rushie" Webb of Danville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Barry Elliott, Jeff Edgett, Ricki Crain, Barney Carpenter, Warren Jones and James Jones.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Gene Chadwell

STANFORD - A memorial service for Duff Eugene "Gene" Chadwell, 101, of Venice, Fla., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Stanford Baptist Church by Ralph Young and the Rev. Norman Young.

Burial will be in Mount Moriah Christian Church Cemetery.

He died Nov. 24 in Venice.

Born Nov. 19, 1903, in LaFollette, Tenn., he was the son of the late Lewis and Julia Meredith Chadwell.
