Weddings for Dec. 5

Kathy Fletcher and Arlis Luttrell were married Oct. 30 at Calvary Baptist Church in Danville by the Rev. John Cato.

Lori Johnson served as maid of honor and Jan St. Pierre served as matron of honor. They both are from Danville. Other bridesmaids were nieces of the bride.

Charles Shannon of Danville was the best man.

A reception was held at the church.

The bride is the daughter of the late Basil and Kattie Fletcher.

The groom is the son of the late Earnest and Bess Luttrell.

They live in Danville.


Jamie Lynne Shewmaker and Steven Craig Morrison were married Oct. 16 at Harrodsburg Christian Church by the Rev. Carroll Wallace of Chattanooga, Tenn.


Ruscinda Johnson of Lexington served as matron of honor and Heather Gibson of Louisville served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Shewmaker of Harrodsburg, Kendra Wise of Perryville and Heather Vallandingham of Cynthiana. Megan Maynard and Kristen Maynard, both of Pikeville, were flowergirls.

Gordon Lockhart of Illinois was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff May of Lancaster, Keith Tibbs of New York, Robbie Shewmaker of Harrodsburg, Eric Morrison of Springfield, and Jeremy Thacker and John Perry, both of Lexington. Adam Taylor and Christopher Morrison were ringbearers.

After a reception at Lion's Park Community Center, the couple took a cruise to Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Shewmaker of Harrodsburg. She is 1996 graduate of Mercer County High School and a 2000 graduate of Transylvania University. She works at Members Heritage Credit Union in Lexington.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Morrison of Pikeville. He attended the University of Kentucky and is a department manager at Lowe's.

They will live in Lexington.
