Jonathan L. Murray
HARRODSBURG - Jonathan Lee Murray, 28, of Dove Court, died Sunday in Harrodsburg.
Born Oct. 8, 1976, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of James Paul Murray of Harrodsburg and Linda Crossfield Murray of Salvisa. He was an employee of Quebecorworld in Versailles and a member of Ebenezer Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Mecom Murray; a son, Tyler Murray, at home; a sister, Julie Murray of Harrodsburg; two brothers, James P. "Jimmy" Murray Jr. of Louisville and Shannon Murray of Harrodsburg; and two grandmothers, Mary Crossfield of Salvisa and Mattie Murray of Harrodsburg.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Sam Stow and John Kesel. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Pallbearers will be Shannon and Jimmy Murray, Todd Crossfield, Jason Sexton, Joey Milburn and Daryl Russell.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
STANFORD - Services for Betty F. Sims, 67, formerly of McKinney, were 2 p.m. today at New Salem Baptist Church by the Rev. Matthew Jones.
Burial was in New Salem Cemetery.
She died Saturday at her home in Bardstown.
Born March 24, 1937, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Jason and Pearl Walls Austin.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was the widow of Randall Sims.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy League of Garrard County and Belinda Monin of Bardstown; three brothers, Kenneth Austin of Hustonville, Jason Austin Jr. of Stanford and Glenn Austin of Somerset; two sisters, Edith Johnson and Shirley Maples, both of Hustonville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steffon Pallan, Earl Dean McWhorter, Steve Austin, Kent Ellis, Ronald McWhorter and Aaron Austin.
Fox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
