Willie H. Cocanougher

Willie Hays Cocanougher, 89, of East Main Street, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.

Robert Martin

Robert "Bobby" Martin, 43, of Junction City, died Monday at his home.

Born March 2, 1961, in Lincoln County, he was the son of Arnold Martin of Waddy and the late Shirley C. Bottoms Martin.

Survivors include his stepmother, Patricia Huston Martin of Waddy; a halfsister, Sharon Martin of Waddy; a halfbrother, Shannon Martin of Henry County; a stepbrother, David Turner of Henry County; a grandmother who raised him, Frances Bottoms of Stanford; grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Thomas Martin of Taylorsville; an uncle who was raised with him, Charles Bottoms of Danville; and his caregiver, Nancy Kleckner of Danville.


Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Danville Memorial Gardens by Gary Story.

Jeep Gorley

Jeffery Keith "Jeep" Gorley, 47, of Junction City, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born June 24, 1957, in Boyle County, he was the son of Earnestine Wilson Gorley of Junction City and the late Edward E. Gorley. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Sycamore Church of Christ.

Other survivors include his wife, JoEl E. Ford Gorley a daughter, Jennifer Gorley Wilson of Danville; two sons, Bradley Walters of Perryville and Michael Keith Gorley of Danville; two stepdaughters, Justice Monhollen of Junction City and Celeste Hurst of Danville; four brothers, Robert "Kokie" Gorley of Gravel Switch, John Gorley and Arthur Gorley, both of Junction City, and Kelvin Gorley of Danville; four sisters, Kay Snyder of Louisville, Kimberly Gorley and Cheryl Reed, both of Junction City, and Keela Duncan of Moreland; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elder Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may go to Forkland Community Center.

Emma S. Burdette

LANCASTER - Emma Mae Sebastian Burdette, 91, of Lexington Road, died Monday at Christian Care Center.

Born Oct. 6, 1913, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late John Romans and Linda Bell Warmouth Sebastian. She was a homemaker and a member of Lancaster Baptist Church and Garrard County Homemakers. She was the widow of O'Rear Burdette.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Miller of Wilmore; a son, Burland L. Burdette of Garrard County; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Daryl Hodge. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clay Clark, Joe, Michael and Stuart Day, Darwin Foley and Billy Joe Osborne.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Canaan Murphy

LANCASTER - Canaan Metcalf Murphy, 77, of Maplewood Drive, died Monday in Lancaster. She was the widow of Loyd Murphy. Arrangements are incomplete at Ramsey Funeral Home.

John R. Price and Rose Bostic Price

LEBANON - John R. Price, 22, and his wife, Rose Marie Bostic Price, 19, both of Lebanon, died Saturday in Marion County.

Price was the son of John Edward Price of Casey County, and Viola Coffman of Liberty; and stepson of Jo Ann Price of Lebanon and Vicky Price of Casey County; and Tim Coffman of Liberty.

He is survived by one daughter, Zoe' Dihla Price of Lebanon; grandparents, Wanda and Jim Lyons and Garland Price of Bradfordsville; two halfbrothers, Randy Bloodworth of Louisville and Kyle Price of Lebanon; three stepbrothers, Bobby Coffman of Lebanon, Charles R. Price of Florida, Dokota R. Price of Liberty; one halfsister, Melissa Lanham of Liberty; and two stepsisters, Kimberly Tungate of Lebanon and Brittany Sanders of Liberty.

Mrs. Price is survived by one daughter, Zoe' Dihla Price; her parents, Charles Douglas and Melinda Bostic of Lebanon; one sister, Mary Bostic of Lebanon; and grandmother, Lillia Mae Bostic of West Virginia.

Joint services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell DeWitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

Fannie G. Rogers

MOUNT VERNON - Fannie Wynn Gibbons Rogers, 85, of Crab Orchard, died Sunday at Rockcastle Hospital.

Born April 3, 1919, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Wright and Mary Jane Blevins Wynn. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Church of Christ. She was the widow of Homer Gibbons and Glen Rogers.

Survivors include a son, Delmas Gibbons of Stanford; three daughters, Betty Simpson and Alva Cash, both of Crab Orchard, and Wanda F. Gwynn of Somerset; a sister, Mossie Gibbons of Livingston; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Denver Gibbons, and a daughter, Jane Mullins.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Church of Christ in Crab Orchard by Thaddeus Eubank. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at the church.

Dowell & Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
