STANFORD - A Lancaster woman was killed Sunday in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 150 and U.S. 27 near Wal-Mart.
Tamara May, 45, was pronounced dead at Fort Logan Hospital by Lincoln County Deputy Coroner Farris Marcum. An autopsy was performed today in Frankfort.
She was driving south on U.S. 27, and as she drove through the intersection a van hit the back of her car. It spun around and was broadsided on the passenger's side by another vehicle, Marcum said.
Marcum did not have names of the other drivers, and Stanford police said the accident report would not be released until later today. Officer Tim Morris is investigating.
