Reception set at Barbee House

The doors to the McClure-Barbee House, 304 S. Fourth St., will be open to the public 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. A light lunch will be served.

The Christmas open house is held in appreciation to the people, businesses and organizations that support the house.

Live nativity in Crab Orchard

CRAB ORCHARD - A live nativity will presented at 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at Crab Orchard Baptist Church, Stanford Street. The Nativity will be presented through music and narration. Contact the Rev. David Peters, pastor, at ((606) 355-2626 for more information.

The name of Dyland Allison, a student at Lincoln County Middle School, was omitted by the school from the honor roll list published recently in The Advocate-Messenger.
