Three Danville thefts investigated

Danville police are investigating three recent thefts.

On Monday, Lawson Whitt told Officer Greg Hilliard that someone stole a digital camera and cash from his vehicle while it was parked at on North Fourth Street.

Another vehicle was broken into Sunday on Walnut Street at the Centre College Campus. Dustin Hill told Officer Keith Addison that someone stole stereo equipment from his car.

On Saturday, Lee Baker reported to Officer Jeff Stith that someone made a forced entry into his residence on South Street and stole jewelry and cash.


Money taken from restaurant

HARRODSBURG - Local police are investigating the burglary of Aunt Gravy's Restaurant early Monday morning.

Someone broke into the business at 112 E. Lexington St. at 2 a.m. Monday. Debra Yeast reported the crime at about 6 a.m. Monday. Someone broke into the restaurant and took change from the cash register and nine pocket knives from a display case.

Officer Lynn Davis Jr. is the investigating officer. He is assisted by Officer Tim Gambrel and Sgt. Terry Cornish.
